Customers who qualify for the energy purchase rate under M.D.T.E. No. 161, M.D.T.E. No. 261 or M.D.T.E. No. 361 may receive short-run energy payments for kWh generated in excess of their requirements.

The energy purchase rate will be the loss adjusted, one month average hourly market clearing price for energy, as determined by ISO New England or its successors. Rates are applied on a prior-calendar month period.

The P-2 rate is divided into three categories based on delivery voltage: 14 kV, Large Secondary and Small Secondary. The appropriate rate corresponds to the delivery voltage level at which the customer takes service as determined by the applicable tariff. Large Secondary refers to customers having a demand greater than 100 kW.

A schedule of current Power Purchase monthly pricing is available in Adobe PDF format. This PDF will be updated as soon as new pricing information is available.
