Without a Home Heating Protection Plan, NSTAR cannot provide you around the clock heating repair service.
To sign up for one of our Home Heating Protection Plans, simply review the terms and conditions (PDF) and complete the Home Heating Protection Plan Signup Form. Please note, Home Heating Protection Plans are offered to NSTAR Gas customers only. An NSTAR Gas account number is required to sign up for the Home Heating Protection Plan online.

Basic Plan - Heating system protection. $140 per year. ($126 per year with auto renewal)

Deluxe Plan - Heating system, hot water, gas range, and dryer protection plus annual checking adjusting and more. $299 per year.

- Covers labor only for repairs to gas range and gas dryer
- Includes annual checking and preventive maintenance (March through August only) of your heating system, water heater, range and dryer
- Service technician will arrive within 4 hours of your no-heat call or we'll give you $25 off next year's contract renewal
If you choose not to purchase a Home Heating Protection Plan from NSTAR, we kindly encourage you to be prepared by making arrangements with a licensed plumber or heating contractor before heating equipment repairs are needed. You may check your local phone book for listings.
*Heating system and hot water repair plans cover all parts and labor. Boiler sections, heat exchangers, leaking hot water tanks, and piping excluded.
