Understanding Your Gas Bill

To help you better understand your NSTAR Gas bill, below is an example of a typical residential bill. Simply click on the red buttons to learn what each section of the bill is all about.

Based on valuable customer feedback, NSTAR began sending most residential customers a newly redesigned bill in March 2007. The new bill is easier to understand, provides customers with helpful bill analysis information and includes a graph charting energy use over a 13 month period.

This new information is included on the front "Summary" page of customers bills. Page two - the "Detail" page of the bill - provides all of the information customers received in the past.
