NSTAR's innovative new Smart Energy Pilot, a Smart Grid program, puts the control in your hands. We provide you with leading-edge home energy management tools that allow you to see in real-time how you're consuming energy. These tools will help you make informed decisions that can add up to real savings.

Participation will also help NSTAR to better understand how customers consume energy now and for years to come.

Eligible participants will be among the first to take advantage of this exciting new program, and receive new home energy management devices valued at over $300 for their homes.

NSTAR has targeted and invited customers in Newton and Hopkinton who meet specific criteria. For instance, participants need to have broadband access in their home. Other criteria might also be used to determine eligibility.
